BOE Regulatory and Hazardous Materials Compliance Training
Current regulations define hazmat employees who must be trained to include the following:
Load, unload or handle hazardous materials
Manufacturer, test, recondition, repair, mark or otherwise qualify packages
for use in the transportation of hazardous
materials
Prepare hazardous materials for transportation
Are responsible for the safety of hazardous materials in transportation
Operate a vehicle used to transport hazardous
Naturally, our courses cover the relevant regulatory requirements of hazmat employee training required by CFR 49, § 172.702, Subpart H, for general awareness and familiarization, function specific and recurrent training. We emphasize common hazmat safety and regulatory compliance problems that our veteran inspectors have encountered in the field. But, BOE's training modules go beyond the basics and exceed DOT's training requirements by including the following:
General Awareness/Familiarization
Shipping Papers
Marking and Labeling
Placarding
Packaging
Tank Car Loading/Unloading
Cargo Tank Loading/Unloading
Tank Car Shop Requirements
Tank Car Repairs
Railroad Operations
Railroad Hazmat Rules
Security Awareness
We can also provide HAZWOPER training as needed. We standardize training for Canadian and Mexican regulatory expertise and conduct Mexican training in Spanish. To ensure compliance with Dot's record-keeping requirements, we issue certificates for all employees who successfully complete training and testing with a description of the training materials used. Whatever your training demands, we can customize a training program to fit.
